Porsi Pakan Pada Ikan

E(growth) = E(intake) - E(metabolisme)
                = Makanan yang masuk - Energi yang dikeluarakan (aktifitas)

Dimana porsi pakan ikan adalah 3 - 5% dari total berat tubuh ikan.

Rumus dalam menentukan porsi makan pada ikan :
FCR = jumlah pakan yang diberi           
            daging/berat ikan yang dihasilkan

dimana FCR yang baik ialah kurang < 2, max = 1,9.
